What does the shipping and delivery look like?
Shortly after you place an online order, JAE will give you a call to confirm the order as well as schedule transit. JAE does not use a third party shipping service. Rather- we offer a white glove experience where we will deliver and install your brand new table.
What are the shipping costs?
The shipping cost is absolutely free. There will be no hidden costs to have tables and chairs delivered to you if you are in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Delaware and Maryland.
I haven’t placed an order yet, is there a way I can have a different color or wood species than what’s listed?

Does my table not come with the topper?
The topper or dining surface is not included in the base table price. Please find the drop down selection to select your table topper.
What is the lead time from order submission to delivery?
Because each order is handcrafted to your selections, our typical lead time is 3-6 weeks.
What if my state isn’t listed for shipping?
If your state is not listed in the check out screen- we traditionally will not travel to your state. Please fill out a form submission in the top right corner of this page to talk about this topic further.
Hardwood Floor FAQs
Is there a lot of dust when sanding the floors?
Dust is a common concern, however, there is not as much as you might think. JAE has a state of the art dust containment system that is connected to all sanding machines. In addition, painters plastic will be used to cover all high surface area furnishings. It is recommended that pictures and mirrors are removed from your walls.
Why should I choose hardwood floors over carpeting, laminate or vinyl flooring?
Hardwood flooring is unique because it’s an organic product that can be customized in a countless amount of ways. If properly installed and maintained, hardwood flooring can be refinished several times and survive generations.
LVPs and laminants are a once and done product. Once there is an ample amount of wear on them, they have to be torn up and replaced. Its a fact that alot of LVPs dont biodgrade in landfills or are recycleable.
When can we walk on the floors/ move furniture back after my floors have been refinished?
Depending on which finish option you decide to move forward with, light foot traffic can resume in as little as 2 hours.
JAE advises to wait 3-5 days to move furniture back to let the finish be 100% cured. However, there are kinds of finishes that have a 3 day full cure that are at a top end price.
Can hardwood floors be installed over concrete?
Yes, hardwood floors can be installed over concrete and basements. Several steps are performed prior to installation to properly adhere the hardwood to the concrete.
What is the best way to maintain my hardwood floors?
Cleaning and maintaining a constant temperature and humidity is the most important thing you as a homeowner can do. JAE suggests a hydrometer and bona hardwood floor mop kit.
What is the difference between unfinished and pre-finished hardwood flooring?
Installing unfinished flooring offers several advantages, such as, more options in wood species, stain color, and finish options. Pre-finished hardwood flooring has micro bevels, which are shallow hairline cut on the sides of each boards. The micro bevels make the cleaning process more difficult.
